C&C 29 MK II

Any Opinions?

It looks to be a quick little boat and should point pretty well with it's 5'3" plus fin keel even though it does have a relatively short water line at 22' plus.

Decent Coastal/Caribbean/Bahamas Cruiser?

I used to race one of these babies out of Marblehead. Reasonably quick sailer, but pretty tender. She likes to sit on her rail.

Re: C&C 29 MK II

Maggie & I spent a decade cruising & living aboard our C&C 29-2 (Florida & Bahamas). Quite livable, for her small size.
You describe it's performance quite well. Initially tender, but stiffens up nicely due (primarily) to her 40% ballast/displ ratio.

C&C 29

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, poyklr.

Re: C&C 29 MK II

Thanks for the replies.

It looks like a good middle of the road boat for an ex-racer, and perfect for the type of "cruising" I'm doing which is mostly weekends and vacations.

I may even race it some.......
