C&C 26 Wave

I'm wondering if anyone can provide some opinions on the wave 26 by c&c, I sail in lake Simcoe Pefferlaw ont. The marina is shollow as are many others in the later part of the season, I now sail a Macgreagor 25 with a steel keel. it points well and is a fast boat for its size, not hard to achieve 7 plus knots, but standing room when out for long periods can be an issue, unless you use the pop up, The wave 26 may meet my needs as long as the shollow draft does not an issue with sailing performance.
