@2.45 there is a somebody in front of the cam,perhaps give 'em a call and ask
how tall he is,perhaps they'll make a vid for you!

price of this boat is approx 4k over your budget(in euros),according to Apollo Duck;

For Sale: Hallberg Rassy 382 - GBP 89,000

pretty boat.

Good luck!

Re: Buying from Meds, Sailing to Finland: Boat Recommendations and Other Tips

Hi,

After a few months of silence I have some news I went to Turkey to see two boats and one of them was a well maintained 1991 Hallberg-Rassy 36. As a result of the trip I just signed a sales agreement for the boat so the next step is to have the boat surveyed.

Since this is a completely new thing for me would be great to get some tips for the survey. Especially how the hull survey should be done: the boat is now in the water so should I arrange it lifted for a couple of hours or should it stay on shore longer to get completely dry? Also if you can recommend any surveyors in Kusadasi area that would be great.

All comments regarding the boat itself are also welcome!

Best,
Sam

I am not sure. If the hull was all cored you should take it out of water at least 24 hours before (if the weather is not very humid) but on that one the hull is only cored above waterline, I mean if measures of water percentage on the composite are to be taken.

On a boat of that vintage the rig should be changed if not been changed already.
