Bum a ride on a Pacific Seacraft 34

The beautiful PSC 34 is on my short list to retire on, but I've never sailed one. On paper she looks great. I'd like to crew on one if anyone is interested. I sold my Nor'Sea 27 three years ago after sailing her for a few years, but alas she was just a bit small for us (and at the time I needed tuition money for my son).

The Gulf Coast is best for me. I'm in Louisiana.

I have strong hands and a weak mind, but I know the difference between a jib sheet and a banana. I won't show up empty handed.

PM me if you're interested. And, thanks for the opportunity.

All the best

Don.

Have you tried the Pacific Seacraft forums? If you are going to buy a new boat you could contact the builder and they could probably get you a ride with someone. I would also expand my ride search to the 37 as they are designed by the same person and will behave similarly. The 31 will have the same build quality but without the canoe stern.

You might try asking at Pacific Seacraft - SailNet Community

Oh man, a beautiful boat. What could you not like? I hope it works out and you are able to find someone to sail with, but maybe just go for it and trust what you read. If it weren't for that canoe stern and being a diver, this had been one of my top choices.

Thanks for the great advice. I've posted on Sailnet and gotten an offer for next spring. I emailed Pacific Seacraft, but I've not heard back from them, yet.

If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area I would be happy to give you a ride on PSC 37.

One of my favorite places in these United States. To boot, I am a huge Giants fan. I hope to take you up on your incredibly kind offer.

Thank you, thank you very much.
