Bought my first boat!
Tapping into the feeling everyone here had before you became cynical, salty sailors.

Yesterday, I bought my first boat....a Catalina 25 #4520 named S/V Shamrock 5. Had a great day on the Patapsco River and looking forward to a great summer on the Chesapeake. If any of you out there have any great Chesapeake sailing sites or resources to check out....feel free to point me in the right direction. I've also heard of a few sailing/racing clubs in the Pasadena, MD area which would be fun to learn more about.

Already sent my request to join the Cat 25 Forum

Windows are great. One leaks a little, but it is not a concern. Very minor. The folks that fixed her up did a great job, in my humble opinion.

Have Fun, Be Safe, Sail a Lot!

The community of sailors are overall very supportive and fun to be with. Sure, you have to take some people with a "grain of salt", but that's the case in every community. I've learned a lot from other sailors, and hopefully that will be the case with you too.
