I am not too sure about a 25 model but I would like to have a 30 or even 34.
I chose an older,
Alberg 30, because thats what I could afford. Its seems to be to
money better spent and easier for me to handle the outlay of
money. I could have an old boat for 20-30k,
refit and build it out for another 20k and have quite a nice finished product for 40-50k or so.
Most boats that would be anywhere near similar to a
Fisher 25, if still available, would prolly set you back 125-150k minimum, a Fisher 30 or similar would be prolly 250k...
This is how I justify an older boat in my
head. Because If I had to wait until I had 150K cash to spend on a
project or toy, I would never be or go sailing.
