Nice looking boat. These are heavy displacement (I.e. slow) and appear small for people these days, but they have inner bigness!

The engine is relatively new.

Beware of possible leaks in a boat this age; decks, ports, hatches, bulwarks, cockpit and so on.

This is a trailerable weekend/day boat. Gaff cat boat rig (no foresail) simple, easy to sail. Shallow draft with centerboard up. Cute boat, and very well looked after.

I'd say it is "noteworthy" because of the apparently high price. These are built in the USA and appear to have a cult following.

Don't count on it...they are leaky teakies. They found out later that a deck of plywood and teak over was a disaster.

Kelt 39 listed at $28.5k…very interesting to me as it has twin rudders, a centerboard and can be beached. For my location with lots of shallows it would be a nice setup. I have not seen the boat and have no idea of condition or upgrades. I like the reinforcing shown behind the centerboard in the hull in the diagram, and the sugar scoop stern. Seems like a boat that was ahead of its time.

Looks like this boat is still for sale, at that price would be about 30K USD.

I sold one about 15 years ago now for 24K USD. Mine was nice, but not as nice as the photos in the ad.

This boat looks to be well tricked out, but is getting old, now over 40.

Would be a great boat at the right price for a couple or small family. Rock solid.

This is another old-but-looks-decent cruising boat. Again, asking top dollar, imo, but it's early in the season.

It has some excellent gear (although the interior upholstery isn't to my taste!)
