I, for one, would love to hear Bob Perry's words of wisdom so I hope he will continue to add comments.

I am in the process of buying my FIRST boat and am looking at the C&Cs (30-32'). Any comments from anyone? I have sailed but it's been a very long time.

I'm like an Irish lad 3 days before Christmas morn staring at his gifts under the tree... I know Bob wants to show us something bad and I'm ready to peel the tape off the package I want to see it so bad!
I think I just confessed...

I want a pic like Duder's ( well, not exactly like Duder's) and no matter what steps I go thru I just can't get it to come up when I post. I'm getting ready to throw my computer out the indow.

No, I changed the size of the pic. It should be fine. I'll try resizing again.

By Jove, I think I've got it!
And it only took Captain Dave and I 2.5 hours to figure it out.

I risk my life getting that photo! In 1985 (perhaps still today) the Northern Territory Aboriginals thought a picture would steal their soul. Thursday Island didn't have a lot of escape routes.
This could turn into a story yarn really easy.

Nope. >grin< I'm resisting the temptation here. I'm sure there's another forum thread here somewhere that caters to the "yarn" temptation. I'm new here and haven't found it.... but I'm sure it's here somewhere.

This thread is to find Shawn a yacht!

ztviper17: Have you visited the "Valiant" factory? They make them around Lake Texoma / Gordenville Tx.
