What is the difference between "old Pearsons with names", vs those with numbers?

my perception of quality and style.
The older boats do still bring less money.
I looked at the specs of the Vanguard and 323 they are similar. With the 323 taking the edge in performance.

Ahhh ...
I hadn’t noticed that the earlier models were all designated with “names”, and that they changed to numbers in 1968.

1959: Triton
1960: Hawk, Tiger Cat, Electra, Invicta
1961: Rhodes 41, Alberg 35
1962: Ensign, Ariel, Vanguard
1963: Resolute, Packet
1964: Commander
1965: Countess
1966: Lark, Wanderer, Coaster
1967: Renegade
1968: 22, 24, 300 ...

CSY 33 for sale- good blue water boat

I have a CSY 33' cutter for sale on the Florida/Georgia border. Just finishing a haul out. The price is a little above your budget but a 5'5" deep draft modified full keel with solid 3/4" fiberglass hull and standing room of 6'3" in the salon are pretty good features for a blue water boat.

New 27hp Yanmar diesel. New bottom, zincs, windows rebedded, mack pack, new fully battened main, new foresail, new lower stays, rigging in good shape, hull waxed and polished, topsides touched up, waxed and polished.

Great boat for the money $35,000

Email me for picts if your interested.

For what its worth I have a steel 31foot sloop for sale right now that was designed for ocean passages. And I'm only asking $15K Canadian for her. Go to the following URL: boat for sale-classifieds and look for the Mason 30. Email me if you have any questions. Shes located on the great lakes.

I bought a larger boat and need to sell this one.
