If you don't mind a mooring I would go around to the city mooring field

Conch Harbor is great but, like everything in KE, silly expensive

We anchor of Flemming Key and use the dingy dock by Turtle Krawls if money is an object and it usually is

Scuba, I've only had ONE cup of coffee today so pardon me if I don't understand. Did you want to bring a boat with you, or just stay at a marina by yourself?

<VBG>

You know, if they'd just get back to draining the swamps, dredging the shoals, slap a dome over the place and turn up the AC, Florida could be a real nice place to visit.

KW Bight Marina is $2.20/ft/night summer rate. .18kwh electric, free Internet & water. Use the pool next door as long as you buy a drink at the bar!

Enjoy a Key Lime Martini at the White Tarpon Bar.

It's a rough life!

Re: best Marina to stay at the keys for a week

If you are going for a week I would go for Key west, great, fun, good food, Awesome happy hour deals, forget the mooring, its a vacation, unless money is an issue or you were just cruising ft etc. nothing else will compare,
You can grab a drink at Dantes, enjoy the pool, sail out a few miles, pick up a mooring ball and snorkel or scuba, and fish, sail around, do the Duval Crawl, a week goes really fast but is an easy trip for you.
