It's been a few years since I sailed anything smaller than 34 ft., but out of desperation to get on the water since I am a long way from my own boat I rented a Colgate 26 for a day, last weekend. I had a ball. It was like going from a Class A motor home to a sports car. It had a very roomy self bailing cockpit and was very easy and fun to sail. They are trailerable and supposedly unsinkable.
