Best hammock?

Any suggestions about how to set set up a hammock onboard? What style or brand of hammock have you had success with? I would like to have a double hammock for lounging in. I am sure there are some professional relaxers on CF!
Thanks

Re: Best hammock?

We run three hammocks from the aft end of the boom to three points on the antenna/davit arch. One if the hammocks is ll bean, the other two are Yukon outfitters. We obviously don't use them under way. They are also great of there are sturdy trees on the beach!

We have an eno which we love. however, the parachute material acts like a sail when you get out. I would suggest either a rope or heavy material hammock on the boat.

ENO doublenest, I sling mine up under my spin pole and sleep in it at night during the summer, and when it gets buggy ENO makes 2 different bug nets that fit perfectly over the hammock. hell the last schooner I worked on half the crew slept on deck in their ENO hammocks.

I have the Eno double as well. Super durable and SOOO comfy! Took me a couple of trys to figure out the correct tension to suit myself but I love it.

Re: Best hammock?

ENO double here too. Great for shore excursions as well. You can get a combo with the hammock, rigging straps, and a bug net

Re: Best hammock?

Check out Hennessey versions. Full bug net with zipper, flysheet if needed. Well thought of in lightweight camping, motorcycle tourers. Plenty of YouTube vids. Think they make a double width one.
