Best Boat Yard in Stuart, FL for Haul Out ?

We are buying a sailboat in Stuart, fl that is a 40' sailboat and need to find a recommended yard to haul her for readying for trucking. Does anyone have knowledge of the best yard that allows one to work on their boat too? Also we will need to unstep the mast, who would be recommended for this? Thanks so much! Boats 4 us

I bought my 42' in Stuart. Had my survey done at Hinkley. Very professional but quite expensive. When it came time for haulout to prep for shipment, the best do-it-yourself yard was up in Ft. Pierce at Crackerboy Boat Works. An easy couple of hours motor up the ICW.

Thanks for your reply. However, we don't have the extra time to travel that distance. We've recently had good reviews elsewhere on the Port Solerno Marine yard and will be hauling out and doing our survey and prep for trucking there. My only concern are the tides and the timing of the short haul before our sea trial. We'll only have 2+ hours to enter, complete the short hall and exit. The MLW is 4', our draft is 5'. It does look doable though, depending on the speed of which the yard can wash down the bottom and the surveyor's inspection of it.

Thanks again!
