Beneteau 461/463

Hi all, only new to this site,could somebody please tell me the difference between the two and would you have confidence sailing to the meditteranean or the british virgin Is in either as I have heard that they are not a very good blue water yacht.

The 463 is the Moorings version of the 461. For some reason Moorings likes to re-number the Beneteaus, for example the 393 becomes a 409. Maybe they get a better rate with the larger number. As for confidence in sailing these boats, it all depends on the condition of the boat but all of them get to the BVI on their own hulls.
