One difference for me is the option of a swing keel
on the 35. The new oceanis 35 is a damned nice boat but its a bit confusing as the price
point is so close to the 38. With only $20K USD difference, why not go with the 38?
It is almost identical except smaller dimensions. I stood on the front edge of the intersection of coach roof and bow deck
of the 38 and sighted the same location on the 35 in the adjacent sllip as both models were tied stern-to the same T dock
. It appeared to me the major difference is the distance from that point to the forward tip of the bow. Its impact is a shortened forward berth. The forward berth on the 35 is useless to me as it is too short. On the 38, that same forward berth is almost a full double and would be my preferred place to sleep.
