Bavaria hull problem ??

hey,
today I was at the Istanbul boatshow.
I visited allmost all sailboats.
A little worry when I inspected the hull of the new Bavaria 46 Cruiser.
You can see the pics below.
I you look in detail, you can clearly see the position of the ribs. The paint shows
ribs about every 20-30 cm. is that normal to see those ribs ? it is not a continuous surface. Didn t see that on any other yacht.
Is that normal ??

Ribs are good in general the strengthen the hull.

yes ı agree but it doesn t show off on any other boat. Is it notmal that you can see that from the outside ? it makes a clear angle at each.

Shouldn't see it from outside , unless strongly backlit. Sometimes in boat shows with very bright lights you see a few funny GRP things.

i am positive it is not part of the design ....ripples in the hull are not in the program.....I hope someone from Bavaria will chime in and teach me....

Bavaria uses an internal grid from what I have seen. These grid structures are normally glued in while the hull is in the mold. It may be it was pulled to soon before a full cure (often the case because the mild is needed for the next build) or there was pre-release in the mold. This is sort of like print through in the days of 25 oz roving. Pretty typical of a production boat
