AUTOHELM 3000 WHEEL CLAMPS NEEDED

Does anyone have the helm wheel clamps for the autohelm 3000 Autopilot? I need these...
Clamps go around the spokes in the wheel to hold the large black drive/belt ring onto it.... have the whole system except these....Anyone?...

If you can't find therm, just get some U bolts at a hardware store. Nothin' special about them.

I had several made up by a machine shop, didn't cost a lot.


The shop may still have the pattern if needed. I know he made extras.


I will check if I have one for a pattern if you don't have any. One way or another we can help you out.

I know this is old but did you ever find any? I need these and the Autohelm 4000 non-belt version clamps as well. All three of those snapped in half.

Bring one of your broken ones into any tool / machine shop. They can fab new ones using your broken one as a pattern. I had mine made out of a nylon material ,

The shop I used has changed owners and the don't have a pattern.
