anyone know anything about Bristol 26'?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forums here but have been a silent observer for a little while now
I live in Charleston sc currently and am new to the world of sailing.
I purchased a 26' Bristol this past August and have been working
To restore it over the past few months.

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the model. I have found very little literature on the subject.

I'd like to know whatever I could find that's important concerning the boat's:
Seaworthiness
History
Limitations/strengths
Modifications that have been done to this model
Value

And anything else deemed important

Congrats on the boat. We have had a Bristol 24 for two seasons and love it.

There is a very active Yahoo group for Bristol owners that can likely help. We've had a lot of great responses to our questions, and I know there's at least one other B26 owner that participates in it.
