Re: Anyone know about this Polish boat?

:-) "Skookum" is Coast Salish for "great" or "Powerful". "Chuck" is Coast Salish for "water". Thus one of the most powerful and dangerous tidal overfalls we have on this coast, in a place called Sechelt Inlet, is called "Skookumchuck" I don't have the fortitude to take TP anywhere near it :-)!

Yes, Alberg 30 is “trailerable” I have one and I love it. I don’t trailer mine but others have done so.

I'm not sure if you meant to post to this thread?

wrt to my evolving requirements, as discussed in my "trailerable" thread - continue there if you like - an 8'6" beam has become a hard limit dealbreaker requirement.

In the meantime wrt the main topic of this thread, that boat has been relisted at a lower price, but not by much.

My communications with the seller lead me to believe they're good people, and I may take a trip to look at her, but for me the price is too high for now.

I've seen Nor'sea 27s for 15-35K and probably will just need to work and save until I can afford that.

Then again I almost won a charity-auction Bristol 27 for under $500, but no trailer, and haven't found a good one of those yet.

Re: Anyone know about this Polish boat?

it is very simple to permit up to 10-foot of beam.

Re: Anyone know about this Polish boat?

Thanks but again, for **my** selection criteria, fewer choices is a good thing.

I plan to keep the 8.5' limit as a dealbreaker.

Re: Anyone know about this Polish boat?

Just so you know J24's are trailered all the time at 8'8". never a problem.
