If the CD36 is such a sought after bluewater cruiser then why haven't I been able to see one heavily equipped for long distance cruising?
Most people don't cruise
long distance. What you see is what you can find. The boats are well suited to it even if someone has not chosen to do it. As with any older boat you need to check them out with a proper survey
. Boats are not based on a reputation - they are what they are. Some are well cared for and maintained. If you found a good one it would be worth the effort to check out.
