That's simply amazing. Carmen Bay will most likely be my new home soon. There are several yards in the Phils specializing in cold molded. I had planned on doing a refurbish there. Thanks for the link.........i2f

I was at the Carman yard a few years back when Mike had it. I heard somewhere he has moved. He built really nice multis in wood cold molding as you probably know.

I was attracted to Maggie B as the original boat used synthetic rigging, combined with deadeyes, and beat the pants off most schooners or similar rigs anywhere. what an amazing combination of Nigel Irens the round world' designer and the old school best of the schooner days.

I have inquired about a slip in Carmen. We will relocate to Cebu City, or nearby. I saw the masts from the road in 06 as we drove the road to Malapascua. The link is very encouraging for my future plans....thanks again.......i2f

Where are you in the Phils? my wife will be based in Cebu, but I plan on doing a lot of exploring, and gunkholing. I would love to hear more from you about your sailing the Phils.......i2f

Lovely looking boat and what a nice set-up....I love his shop and the office.

A partner and I set up a small business in an old concrete munitions bunker in the middle of the jungle a couple years ago....this guys got the right idea for sure!
