Question 43' Cheoy Lee Motorsailer by Designer: Seaton-Neville

Does anyone have personal (hopefully unbiased) opinion about the SAILING abilities of this design by Seaton-Neville?
Thank you very much!

I am currently sailing one across the Pacific and have traveled 6000 miles so far. All two or one handed sailing.
The crux is this boat has very good sailing behaviour, in fact she is quite fast BUT you need more than 16knots of wind because the sail area is to small for a 27 yes 27 ton boat.
Of course all the windows and fixtures leak but she is a leaky teaky after all!
In 20 knots of wind I can passage plan at 150 miles per 24 hours.

We have delieverd both a 43 and a 50 of this brand, as far as sailing go's there not to bad !! in Pacific trade wind sailing they are fine ! as said above 15 knots of wind thet SAIL !! and they do in comfort!! the boats we sailed were almost new ! so the Leaks had not started yet !! I would love a 50 ftr myself but can't live with the leaky teaky any more !! LOL Im just to old to chase leaks LOL
