41' Master Mariner Neptune

Hi Folks,

Does anyone out there have knowledge of Master Mariner yachts? She looks like a beauty but for the life of me I can't seem to get any info, i.e., construction, value, designer, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Aloha Mike,
Got any more info on her? Picture or listing? I used to own a Mariner Ketch with a clipper bow (all wood.) She was about 41 overall but was a Mariner 35.
Kind Regards,

Aloha Switters,

All I could find in about 30 minutes was this:

"Dehler Yachts are world-renowned performance sailing yachts native to Germany. A part of the Dutch-Canadian Neptune group, Dehler’s factory is located in Meschede-Freienohl, Sauerland, Germany. The factory facilities include a research department. Innovations line Dehler’s history, such as the central winch system and the self-tacking jib. Hulls, made of polyester, are hand-laid up and the resins used guard against ultraviolet rays and harsh chemicals. While still in their respective molds, the hull and deck are joined together by lamination. The sailing yachts produced range from 25 feet to 47 feet in length. Among many other Dehler awards, the Dehler 36 has been given the “Boat of the Year” award in France and in Germany. Almost all of the yachts are European certified as A CE construction."

I don't know if that helps but you might be able to do some other research using the information.

Thanks Guys....The only pix I have are off of the YachtWorld site, boat is in San Carlos. A little wary of buying down South but her layout is what we've been searching for.....course it's way too early w/o a visit and a survey to get serious. Just that I didn't have any experience with Master Mariner corp.

I'll be doing more research with the info you passed on....thanks again

Don't see a Neptune 41', though.

Aloha Mike,

Gord sent you information about my old boat (just like the one pictured) but that isn't what you're looking for. The one in the photos at Yachtworld is much different. A double ended cutter with no bowsprit. I found this site that seems to be able to provide brochures and drawings. You might try them. Good luck in your search. JohnL

Wishful Thinking is a boat in Hawaii that is a Mariner Centaur, I don't know if that's the same thing. My brother knows the guy and says he's got some passage and maintenance experience with the boat. That's his website, with tons of logs and other good info, and contact info.

Aloha.
Nope that's not the same boat or builder. My wife and I were married aboard the Mariner Centaur "True Love" at Rainbow Bay in Pearl Harbor in 1989 and we spent a few days sailing her. Well made boats but not the same as the Neptune 41.
Kind Regards,
