31.33' Hunter 31 1984

any input on the Hunter 31 1984 .I hear its a fair solid boat ,average at min but blue water worthy.

I guess one has to define blue water. Trans atlantic, Miami to Cuba or Ft Lauderdale to Miami ( ok I know thats coastal). I would feel safe on the latter of those two. No problems. For a Trans-at or longer journey, you may want to look at the stability info compared to a few others.

Hunters are a wonderful boat and get a lot of bagging around here. But they are wonderful boats because they do exactly what they were designed for. Booze Cruising and weekends with the family -and they do this job very very well at a sensible price point.
