1979 39' Santana Sloop ?

Any got any thoughts or experience on a 39' Santana? Looking for a boat that can do some serious ocean miles.

Thanks!

great boat. absolutely great. I've never owned one but I've sailed one, and was completely impressed. There weren't many built, so it may be hard to find one in your neighborhood. (Not that we know what part of the world you hail from.)

We've owned boats built by Tom. They are a bit tougher then people give them credit for and certainly faster then people realize. I would think the 39 would be a good boat for cruising with a few mods.
