1977 Heritage West Indies 38

Just bought a boat I have been wanting to buy for the last few years at my marina. I have had a Catalina 30, and Hunter 25 so I am pretty excited to have something with so much room and AC!.

I got it for next to nothing and most of the systems will have to be gone through, not much works but it floats.

Has a Perkins 4-108 and Northern Lights 5K genset.

If anyone else out there has the same boat or may have owned this one Id love any info I can find. The only knowledgeable owner of this one was 3 owners ago from what I can tell.

It is a shame when people let boats degrade, looking forward to restoring this one. My previous Hunter 25 was abandoned in the woods and came out great.

No, this one has been in Georgia for maybe 10 years? I am still going through some old receipts to backtrack it.

Dan, do you still have this boat? I recently bought a 77 Heritage West Indies that was in GA, I'm now in NC. I'm wondering if its the same boat and would love to compare notes on it. I don't believe that the previous owner had the boat for very long.
