Very cool looking boat, btw.
I also spell humour with a u

I also have not used any features of the "make friends" portion of this web site.

I'm also a mono sailor and even if I weren't, Dude, take it up a notch.

Not cool.

OK here's a more serious one...

205? - If the hatchboards are in when rolled almost all mono's will put the stick back up in the air and the lead back in the water unassisted (assuming both are still attached...)

206 - mono = 4 letters. multi = 5 letters. Proof positive that mono is 20% more efficient

208. I found out! They lean over to shed all the water that comes on board.

Higher level of sportmanship or a lower level of lateral thinking.

I fail to see how it isn't considered as fair as so many here keep saying cats aren't really any faster than monos.

It's a pity they( the powers that be) don't let multis in the Sydney-Hobart Race! Now that would settle the arguments. The multis always win in the Brisbane- Gladstone Debacle.Only remember one taking them on unofficially, about 20 yrs ago and doing well. Anybody else remember that? (Bullfrog) I saw the tri down on the Jetty in Hobart, for repair, as they had damaged the hull hitting something in Bass Strait.

182: With a mono you aren't compelled to include the words "cat", "pussy", "twin", "two", "double" or derivatives thereof within the name of your boat.

207: But with a mono you still can

Lateral thinking would have been turning up in a similar boat with the advantage of having a year to make it faster than the one you knew you would be seeing.

That's purely because multi guys are so one eyed they wind up so much easier so it's fun, almost a sport in it's own right lately If you disagree with that just look back through this thread to see who is the most defensive and then pop across to the multi thread and see how quick it gets real grumpy when someone drops a small 4 letter word, that being 'mono'.

Some of us who sail both and have 2 eyes open know each have there good points just as each has their bad. We also know which buttons to push, can you tell?

Reasons 206 and 207, the best yet, bloody brilliant
