26. Monos look good with a bowsprit.
27. Mono owners would not get upset about a thread titled "101 reasons why Multis are better than Monos".
28. Monos are quieter (no constant whining from the Skipper )
29. Monos are immune from Pirate attack .
30. Monos can carry a decent sized Anchor and Chain.
31. Mono owners do not get mistaken for the Bumfuzzles
32. God does not get so angry with Monos, so they are less likely to get struck by lightening
33. Monos have more space available onboard, as a Cat uses 3/4's of it's hull space to carry the Skipper's ego.
34. Pirate Girl loves Monos
35. Monos have their escape hatches on deck not in the bottom of the hull.
36. If you buy a Mono your wife's breasts will get bigger and your penis won't fall off

37 - They thoughtfully anchor way off shore and leave the secluded calm spots for me.

25 Monos do not thump like a spastic drum when sailing through a little chop.
26 Monos can sail in light air

( though Everytime I run aground I wish I had a cat!)

I personally think Multi-hulls have many advantage, but in the end I'm going with a mono hull again for tens of thousands or reasons. (Each reason equalling one dollar).

As someon planning to move to multi soon enough...

40 Lower rig loads.
41 Lower hull loads.
42 Lower cost per pound, linear foot, but maybe not cubic volume.
43 Handle waves better.
44 Go to weather longer in deteriorating conditions.
45 Have lee cloths and bunk boards to keep you in yer berth.
46 Often have wine cellars in the keel.
47 Did anyone mention they look better?

geez this thread is popular...

48: I don't have to work to shake my martini.
49: I can have a REAL keel and skeg in front of my rudder
50: I CAN take my home and all my stuff with me.
51: With just two people on board, I don't have to decide what to do with all those extra cabins that I can't put stuff in because it's too heavy.
