Interesting, you are 100% right. 'The Marine' in Melbourne it indeed was. Stinking big Palm tree in the middle of it and the roof opens right up, very cool.

We don't care. If the owner enjoys it, then that is all that is important. I am happy to have either a Mono or a Multi raft up with me, don't care which, if the evening is one of good stories and good drinks. Whether it be the case or not, we mono guys get the feeling it would not be the other way around. I just simply do not know why you guys can not let it go. Nobody hates Multis' nor want to pick on multi owners in any malicious way. But you guys just don't seem to get it. This entire thread is totaly fun tongue in cheek purely because you bite and it probably wouldn't be as fun if you guys didn't bite. And Bite you have. All the way through it.
You seem to be getting a bit wound up there, with all the bold text and everything. Take it easy, it's only a forum

ps - I'd be happy to raft up, I used to sail a mono, so I'm sympathetic to your plight. So long as we used quick release knots - don't want to be dragged down when you sink.....

That's much better.

Have never really bothered with this section of the forum in the past. Of late it has become far more interesting than the multi section, with all the usual multi impaired suspects posting here. Great.

That's a great idea. If a cat rafted up on each side of me I'd have training hulls too...

OK Mike detention for you - Go back and re-read post 271. We all agreed chicks are better than sweaty dudes. Even the cat folks agreed to that one!

Deviation -

The guy we checked out with in LA looked over the starboard rail and shouted, "Hey! There's Angelina Jolie's boat and she's topless."

When we looked he threw the MOB float over port. After the MOB drill he said, "That's a two part test. First is MOB drill. Second is that if you don't look, you aren't crewing with me across the Pacific."

Well yes it is very popular but I always preferred Beenleigh Rum but not sure if it is still the same product since Vok bought it out.

Inner circle is much better IMHO, as are any of the good pot stilled rums
INNER CIRCLE RUM

These you can drink straight without the fire

Dave
I note that Inner Circle recently bought the Beenleigh Rum Distillery.

Sorry about the thread drift; to bring it back to the OP, I can state that the precursor to the Beenleigh Rum Distillery was a illegal floating Distillery aboard the SS Walrus which you may have already guessed, was a MONO.

So Monos make the best rum

634....Monohull guys, as part of the great but not silent majority, can perpetuate stereotypes against multihulls with relative impunity.

Oh, I hate to say this, but... are you saying it's the tyranny of the massive?

I would argue that the best rum, well pretty close ( No3 for taste No1 for price), is the brew I make and it will be done on a cat.

MMMmmm, Rum

Opps
Missed that somehow
ok we can change that to
225- Given a good mono and a nice rolly anchorage the boat can rock the baby to sleep all on its own.

Boy its getting hard to dream up more silly crap to post here.

We'll give you price on spec.

Taste you have to prove. Me and 16,000+ CF members will be over for fruity rum drinks on Friday...
