Why would anyone want to sail there?

It's cold, Canadian taxpayers have to spend a bunch of money for idiots to ROW and ride jetskis in the polar regions (there's a thread here about it).

Here's just another example of the silliness about going to a very COLD PLACE.
Why would anyone want to do this when you can wear next to nothing, enjoy a cold cervesa and go swimming whenever you like?
