actual temp compared to averages is the proper way to describe non standard weather events.

it was happening in the 1970's to then it froze back up just like it will again. Give it 3 years

The 1940-1970's cooling was attributed to increased industrial aerosols, also a human activity. The Clean Air Acts of the 70's helped remove those aerosols and temperatures climbed.

Actually the temps cooled untill the early 1980's . I do remember the cold and all the snow they now say we never got.
It's called Mann made global warming.
