Wanted - Sailing from North California To Vancouver B.C

I will be sailing from Crescent City to Vancouver B.C sometimes in May or June this year. If interested in joining me for this trip please contact me with your particulars and questions. The boat is a 50 foot ketch and the the trip may take a couple of weeks weather permitting. Preferably you should have some sailing knowledge . You also need a clear police record and Canadian visa if your are not a US citizen. This is NOT a paying position. I will not expect you to participate in any costs related to the trip except for your own food that you may choose to buy for yourself. If you are located north of Crescent City and south of Vancouver somewhere along the west coast I may provide free transportation for you to the boat. Regards, Chris

I'd like to make the trip! But I'll taking a 3 week vacation in late July and sailing up through the Strait of Georgia on my own vessel. The Admiral has already issued orders.

There is a little bit of a Southernly current along the coast, so you'll need to get a ways offshore to make better headway. You probably already know that but I thought I'd mention it in case you don't.

Have a safe voyage............................................ ...._/)

Chris,

Dang it, just joined today and read your post about the trip. I have some sailing experience. I wouldn't call me a novice, but not an expert either. I just love boats and sailing and the sea. Do you do this every year and is it a round trip or one way? I know you have already set sail, but am sincerely interested in gaining more experience and aboard a 50' anything I certainly would. Please let me know of any other planned trips.
