Crew Wanted: Unique Crew Opportunity 28 Mar - 20 APR 2018

US Cruisers looking for compatible (English speaking) boating companion/crewing couple help from Nassau Bahamas to Eleuthera or Exumas 28 MAR-20 APR 3018...would like to avoid marina expenses and don’t want to single hand this big boat.

Well appointed 53 ft Gulfstar cruising Ketch...have been in Bahamas since JAN...wife traveling in US during above period...Husband (retired Army Colonel) and experienced sailor (and friendly dog - Lab) planning to park/pay at Nassau marina for 30 day’s but if the right couple is available...We save marina costs and explore near Exumas or Eleuthera with new friends. Preference is fair weather Sailing - may remain in an anchorage until favorable winds permit transit. Couple must be comfortable crewing a well equipped cruising boat; healthy; non-smokers...shared costs in provisioning only - based on your dietary needs. This is not a delivery or charter. This is not a paid crew opportunity. Private cabin and head/shower for our compatible guests. Kayaks, tender, snorkel and huka gear aboard. Sailing route open for discussion...weather dependent. Transport to/from the boat is your responsibility...Sorry-cannot do all female couple (happily married Captain)... Bahamas only - no other country planned (for passport planning). Well certified and well experienced in all aspects of sailing, boating, navigation, onboard chores, etc.
I have plenty of experience in long distance deliveries in the Caribbean.
I love to cook, though it may not be 110% cordon blue.
Living up north and can certainly use a getaway from these horrible winters; why our ancestors moved here in beyond my imagination.
I don't smoke, enjoy a drink, light hearted and quiet if necessary.

The first email should be ...@ns.sympatico.ca
and yes @hotmail.ca does exist.
