Crew Wanted: San Diego to Marina Del Rey

Finalizing purchase of a new to me 83' N30 MKIII on Thursday or Friday. If all goes well, I would like to take advantage of the weather window and get her back up to MDR Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, it is Super Bowl weekend and I'm having trouble finding crew.

Tentative schedule:
Saturday 7am - Shelter Island -> Dana Point
Saturday 5pm - Arrive Dana Point
Sunday 7am - Dana Point -> MDR
Sunday 7pm - Arrive MDR

Marine diesel mechanical experience, not that I anticipate it being needed, would be a useful skillset onboard. We'll likely be motor-sailing the entire trip.

If someone was up for going non-stop (SD -> MDR), we could talk about it.

Just a quick update: Trip was great, no sailing, but good weather, no issues.

Revised times, routes for anyone else making the same journey north.

Left SD/Terminal Island @ 8:30, arrived 11:00pm (14.5hrs)
Route: we avoided the kelp beds off of Pt Loma, which takes you farther south than possibly anticipated (AT&T Welcomed me to Mexico Ha!). Turned N right around the 'SD' buoy (about 1.5hr after departure). From there it's about 55nm straight to Dana Point.

Left Dana Point @ 9:30, arrived MDR 10:30pm (13hrs)
Route: Dana Point to the west corner of the LA/LB Northern traffic lane's turn. Cut across traffic lane to 3nm off Point Vicente lighthouse, to the 'PV10' buoy, to MDR, avoiding crab pots and anchorage in Santa Monica Bay.

Didn't push the engine. Generally made around 4.5kts with wind on the nose and into swell and current.
