Sailing Rio Dulce/Belize to Cancun end of July/August.

Hello,

We are a couple 30 and 33 years old from Poland traveling across Central America in July and August .

We have some sailing experience (previous sailing in Croatia, Straight of Gibraltar as well as lot of inland sailing).
(Inland skipper licence + src training certificate from RYA)

We will be happy to join the crew of the boat heading from Rio Dulce or any place in Belize towards north to Cancun between 3rd of August until 19th of August.

We are aware that the hurricane season is already started but if you are considering to sail in this period of time please let us know.

We will be happy to share the expense of this trip.

best,

Ula and Andre

Very few boats heading North that time of year. You might catch some charter crews moving boats between the Rio and Belize, but unlikely any further North. November-January is a more likely time to get a ride North.

Good idea. Post on the Chisme as it is specific to the Rio. See WWW.riodulcechisme.com.
