Sailing couple looking for passage across Atlantic - 100% ready to go!

Hello Cruisers!

We are Jay and Gabby, a couple looking for a passage across the Atlantic. I am from London and Gabby is from Los Angeles.

We have been trying to find a passage across the Atlantic for a year. We were on the shortlist for an Australian captain, but we were unsuccessful [ good news for you! ]

We are currently in Spain now, determined to find a passage.

I have experience sailing the Solent, the Bay of Biscay and the Balearic islands. I have also helped to deliver a 55-foot Hallberg-Rassy from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Saldana Bay, South Africa.

Gabby just completed a five-week passage on a Gib´Sea 352 from Istanbul, Turkey to Chania, Crete.

We both speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese and Gabby speaks fluent French as well.

We are happy to send you our CVs if you have an email address.

If you would prefer to contact me on my cell phone, please call my UK number: +44 7448423535

We'd be honored if you selected us to help you sail your boat across the Atlantic and we would carry out your orders to the best of our abilities.

Happy sailing!

Kind regards,
Jay and Gabby

Would you consider a crossing from the US to the Eastern Med?

Re: Sailing couple looking for passage across Atlantic - 100% ready to go!

I know of possible a trip from Spain to US east coast on short notice.
The guy is buying a boat in Spain and wants to sail it back home to Florida.

I will send him a link to this forum if the deal goes through...

He is a former Navy guy and he may be in a hurry so don't expect a pleasure cruise.

On the other hand, the boat is truly amazing.

If I didnt have a commitment right now, I'd crew for him....

Hi Lee!

Thanks for the tip. Sounds great, but we are in the Med now and would prefer to cross from this side of the pond. Sounds ideal for another lucky crew member !
