Philippines - Malaysia - Thailand

Vagrancy between Philippines and Thailand, the boat is currently at Kudat, Malaysia, I'm leaving France end of October, I have to be in Thailand to end of February. I would appreciate the company of a team-mate.
It is easy to reach Borneo to Kota Kinabalu airport.

Boarding: Sailboat - Globe float 33

Clearance: Blue water sailing

Re: Philippines - Malaysia - Thailand

Hi There.

My name is Dom;
I don't know if this is of any use to you but, two of us are flying to Manila on the 4th Nov 16, and are planning to travel towards the islands for two weeks and a bit.
We both have some sailing experience and ICC certifications.
We are hoping to do a few days crewing for a yacht owner and are happy to pay costs/fees etc.
We have to fly back out of Manila on 21th Nov so cannot join you on any long trip I am sorry, but we can offer paying company and a hand on the lines etc.
If you are interested do drop me line (PM me) or please pass the message on if you can think of someone else?

Many thanks

Dom

P.s. We are from UK in our late 30's and fully active

Happy Sailing

I have not. My comment was based on hearsay and may have no basis. Best of luck on your voyage.

Re: Philippines - Malaysia - Thailand

Bonjour Gilles,

I'm an Australian and I lived in Brunei for 5 years so I know this area very well, and speak pretty good Malay.
I'm looking for some sailing in Feb-April in the SE Asia area, for me and my Japanese girlfriend. I live in Japan, so it's pretty close for us.
I owned my own yacht in Australia for many years and have the RYA Day Skippers ticket. In March I helped deliver a catamaran from Les Sables D'Olonne to Croatia. A great trip.
If you are interested, I hope to hear from you.

Best of luck,
Jim
