We have a 50 foot sloop 2 people on-board. Looking for an additional crew member.
Separate cabin and head.
We enjoy snorkelling and diving. Have a compressor on-board. New life raft and safety gear. We are currently in Shelter Bay Marina Panama. Transit the Canal approx 07 /03/17

Re: Panama to Australia crossing

We are now informed that we will transit the canal on the 11th of March. If you're interested in a Pacific cruise, have sailing experience ( no sea sickness) pay expenses re your entry and departure from the various countries visited and share the food costs. I have sailed for over 30 years.

Hi Ken,

I just saw your post for the first time. It's a tight deadline but it sounds like an adventure of a lifetime! I'm an American currently traveling through Brazil so my schedule has been pretty flexible. It may be feasible to catch a flight to Panama/Ecuador/Chile etc. What options (countries/dates) would be possible for embarkation?

Please have a look at my profile for a bit of information about myself and experience on the water; it is not extensive but I have the desire to learn and a willingness to work.

If you're interested in talking more, please private message me and we can exchange contact details. I would need to work out more details about budgeting, visa requirements, a bit more about yourselves, etc but at this stage the post has certainly peeked my interest.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Panama to Australia crossing

Hi, do you know anyone at Shelter Bay who is sailing to Ecuador soon?
I desperately need to have a radio delivered to Ecuador.

Re: Panama to Australia crossing

I seem to be planned for april 9, leaving shelter bay for Ecuador mainland.
I've learned a couple of boats leave more early...
