My wife and I are relative novices to sailing, having only taken the
ASA 101, 103, and 104 courses and spent a week doing a live aboard in the Keys. A little inland lake experience as well.
We are looking to gain experience. We are retired and have no other time commitments or limitations, so we can do anything from short trips to cruising. While we are currently in central
Florida, we can certainly travel to anywhere the boat is, how far we would be willing to travel is only limited by balancing the distance of travel against how long we would be on the boat.
We are fit and active, not yet 40. We have been traveling the US for the past 5 months, hiking, camping, and skydiving. We are skydiving instructors,
scuba divemasters, pilots, and generally adventure sports folks. We've been married 18 years and are pretty laid back and easy to get along with.
We'd enjoy any opportunities to learn. We can pay our own way.
If you are interested, PM me and we can exchange some more information to see if we could be a fit for what you need.
