We live in post 60s and 70s "neopuritan" times. And (mostly) Western society just uses different nomenclature, morals and laws to repress natural human reproduction impulses. That's why China and India are way ahead of us in population growth.

Defining sex as a reproductive function is reactionary. Ever fewer babies is a good thing.

It's primarily a fun, social recreational activity, ideally also good exercise.

Just like long-distance running, some let it become an unhealthy obsession, but otherwise the more the better, should really be promoted more.
