Marine Mechanic or able body available

So I'm trying to get back out on the water after being let go for the down season up here in WA.

I have been working as a Marine technician for over 5 years, and the last few with a specialty in gasoline diagnostic and repair. I also have a lot of experience on diesel engines, but that would be limited to diagnostics and minor repairs. Aside from engine work, I know electrical (12/24VDC 120VAC), plumbing, fiberglass and gel coat repairs, buffing/detailing, painting, carpentry, and a myriad of other skills I've picked up over the years. I also have all of my own tools.

Moving from my technical background, I used to be in the Navy for four years where I earned my coaxswain qual and was a backup rescue swimmer when I first entered. For the rest of my career in the Navy I have a background in Military law enforcement, but that shouldn't come into play hopefully.

What I'm looking for:

I'm trying to relocate and don't really have a destination. I'm currently in WA and that's where I would be coming from. I have no problem flying out to anywhere in the US.

Payment is something that is negotiable to me and is entirely dependent on your project or if you just want another able body. I personally would like to get on a medium to large sized project where living aboard was available. Payment could be entirely the experience itself, depends on what you want to do.

I have sailing experience, but I would in noway call myself a professional. I have a lot of sea time and the experience to go with that though as well as living/working on the water basically my whole life.

Sounds like you might do better applying with the professional Superyacht crewing Agencies to get a well paying job.

2nd or 3rd engineering position would be what to aim and train for
