Crew Available: Looking for Experience - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Short and sweet I am a new sailor and am looking right now for that 1st vessel. I have recently completed the US sailing basic sailing course for sloop rigged vessels. I am looking to gain more experience and knowledge in sailing but as a graduate student lack the extra funds for more classes at the moment. If anyone is in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area that is willing to bring me aboard and show me the ropes please let me know. Not available for more than weekend trips due to school but I am eager to learn and start sailing. I am 31, male, former military, a real fast learner, and very passionate about sailing. I grew up on and around boats and the water so not a landlubber just getting his feet wet. I can offer some monetary payment or my services as a deck hand even beyond the learning phase (which I am sure never really ends anyway), or cleaning/maintenance upon return. Really just want to get out on the water and learn more about sailing. Cheers!

last minute 2-day trip, lv st simons ga sat am 10/15, arrive ft lauderdale mon 10/17. *no per diem pay but food is covered. wondering about your location...transportation might be covered too...or might not(?).
