I am looking for a possible long term Captain for first, sailing a 35m motor yacht from Turkey to Denia for a refit and motor drive system replacement, via a few stops on the way (Greek Islands, Ibiza etc) while I have another yacht built to my spec.
Purchase of the yacht is end of May/1st week of June 2018. Accommodation will be provided in Denia while there as this will be our home base until the yacht conversion is done, trials are done around the Med then a transatlantic crossing is done to Dominica republic and further where it will be used to test the new systems and show its capability before it is then used for aid work assisting island folks and any disaster areas such as the recent hurricane areas.
Initially, for the Turkey to Denia journey I need a captain and a couple or two young folks who want some adventure. Then I will need a full time crew for The crossing to Dominica etc. .
My personal yacht will only be ready in 2019 so I will be on and off the yacht from Turkey during that period. Once my yacht is ready I will take the crew I need from the Turkish yacht to be my crew so your options will be either short term or long term.
NOTE: This is not your usual super yacht stuffy nosed champagne and spoiled brats yacht. I am a very relaxed and fun loving about to retire, young at heart man who wants to explore the world and the usually not visited Islands of our world so I can help where I can.
I will have lots of toys including a personal submarine, diving equipment, a Sherp, jet ski etc on board.
At times specialist guests such as medical staff, engineers, marine biologists etc will join us. You will be part of our family and will benefit from a whole lot of new adventures and many cultures that we will visit and get to know.
