ISO Delivery

Hello,
I am looking for a insured and bonded delivery crew that can bring a L46 cat up from Lima, Peru to either San Diego or Texas.

Looking to have this done in November or December

I would love to hear from anyone that has done a Delivery from this part of the world.

What did you do to make sure the boat is clean and no drugs or drug traces are on the boat? Is there a service you can hire in Peru to do this? Did customs and/or immigrations and/or DEA come to the boat when you checked into the USA?

I'm not trying to say anything bad about anyone or any boat. Just wondering how you stay safe.

Let’s not hijack this, let’s keep on subject! Thanks

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF!

Your request is unusual, and you are new here, you provided little description in your post, so it is natural to get some questions. Honest questions never hurt, and may help you or others.

The following are asked in a friendly tone of voice, and with the sole intent to help you.

Are you the owner of the boat?

What is the reason for moving the boat?

Will you be Aboard the boat during the move?

You say either San Diego OR Texas. Given that those two destinations are far apart, and separated by a continent, in two different oceans, that seems odd, and is bound to be something to cause questions too. Why two different places, far apart and separated by a continent?

Hope that helps.

If we fill it up with a bunch on non essential posts that don’t answer my questions does not help. Thanks for your input.

Let’s not get sensitive and jump to conclusions.
The post is simple. I’m looking for someone to deliver a L46. Is there something wrong on being flexible on the delivery location? I think not. Actually San Diego and Texas are not far apart. The nautical mile delta is very small. Just one destination takes less beating.

It’s a new purchase and I couldn’t do it myself, but would like to maybe do 1-2 weeks aboard.
