Hilton Head to Stewart Fl.

I will be looking for one or two crew to get a free ride from Hilton Head to Stewart Fl. within the next two weeks. (Exact dates TBD) Two nights in St. Mary's Ga. Two Nights in Daytona, Then Stewart. Total of about 10 days. No pay or travel expenses, but separate sleeping quarters, navigational and dock side duties only.

If I could I would love to go, just to see what power cruising is like and that does look to be a fine boat to find out too.

Re: Hilton Head to Stewart Fl.

It's my maiden cruise in this boat and would just like a little assistance in docking and standing helm watch. I plan to go up the west coast to Pelican Bay for the winter. By the time I'm in Stewart I should be confident with this boat.

I would do it, and I'm free, except for the lack of transportation. I don't know how I would get back to Hilton Head from Stuart Florida. Are you planning to go down the ICW?

Re: Hilton Head to Stewart Fl.

I am sorry but this birth was taken last night by a friend of mine. As with everything in this life, it is subject to change without notice. Thank you for your interest.

Don,
Things do change, and unexpected happens.

I am available and would be happy to assist for the entire voyage, all the way to the West Coast final destination too. I am flexible on time.

But, I would need you to cover T&E.

Just wanted you to know in case things change, as they often do with boating.

FYI: I have been looking at boats very similar to yours in the 40-44 foot range, for my future, so I do have a strong personal interest in helping you or other motor yacht owners with voyages or deliveries like that, in order to gain experience on them, regardless of location in the USA or elsewhere. I am also available on short notice. See my CF Profile for more info and I can provide links to extensive background info, testimonials, etc.

Bon Voyage!

Thanks for the offer, but as I said the birth is full.

Re: Hilton Head to Stewart Fl.

Hello,
I'm a 49 year old guy up here in Annapolis with some blue water, coastal and river experience working on boats up to 200 ft long primarily serving as deck hand.
I have time in the next couple of months to help you depending on exactly when you're ready.
Also, depending on the timing, I will probably require you to pay most of my expenses to your boat.
