Gladstone to the Whitsundays

Crew wanted to help me sail my 46ft Schionning cat from Gladstone to Airlie Beach Sept this year.
The Aus east coast is a superb area to sail, especially as the south east trades usually blow you north until Nov.
I intend to cruise the 78 Whitsunday islands then sail the 120 miles north to Townsville and Magnetic Island before returning to the Goldcoast early Nov.

Re: Gladstone to the Whitsundays

Are you wanting the help of crew, or the company aboard along the way?

Re: Gladstone to the Whitsundays

Ummm yes... I suppose my question was a bit dumb! Apologies.
It's just that I will be doing approximately the same trip a couple of months earlier, and I hadn't been expecting to *need* crew

Re: Gladstone to the Whitsundays

Some company would be nice, two or three people is good.
Especially someone who can cook better than me and are not totally useless on a sailboat or get sea sick.
This will be my 5th year doing this great trip thru some of the most beautiful islands and coastline anywhere.
