Gay sail adventure trip aboard a
gay owned sailing yacht owned by gay couple. Your sex nor sexuality is not an issue and this is not a romance advertisement. However, you must be comfortable around gay
men who are the target customer.
This trip leaves September 30, 2018 from Cebu the
Philippines. I have divided it into 7 segments with stops in Borneo,
Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Langkawi. Ideally you would arrive about September 10, 2018 for final prep and come on entire trip lasting until November 20, 2018.

HOT BuOYS Sailing: Gay sail Phuket Thailand, Langkawi, Singapore, SE Asia
Duties:
Hauling
fuel,
drinking water, and
food from shore. And no we simply do not pull up to a
dock to load. If we fill the swimming pool, all that
water is brought aboard in 22 liter containers. 20 of them per filling.
Baking bread every day, helping to prepare
meals, setting
fish lines and
cleaning catch.
Help with weekly
cleaning of the bottom. Yes we clean every inch every week with soft plastic scrappers. It takes about 3-4 hours.
Washing sheets and clothes by hand. Yes we do have a piano, but no we do not have a
laundry mat on board.
Washing floors, walls, and ceiling.
Bonus points if you play the piano, have a guitar, and know how to give a good non-sexual massage.
Very big bonus point if you can help market the trip, generate website traffic and help
network to find paying customers. The more paying customers we find the more we can pay you and the greater tips you may receive.
This yacht is a comfortable cruising yacht and not a luxury super yacht nor a bare bones
racing yacht. It is somewhere in between. No
air conditioning and you must be able to still
work if the
captain is still working. If a 56 yo man can still
work in the heat and sun, you should be able to also.
Your good
health is important and an indication if you can cope with the type of work this job involves. Please reply with information that also details how often you go to the gym, swim, run etc.
The number one quality we search for in crew is the ability to be responsible to the vessel. Everything is very costly to
repair and replace aboard a yacht and 90% of all problems I have experienced has been caused by crew who did something like:
1. Stood on large plastic
hatch cover
2. Dropped heavy shackle from high because they tried to hold onto 6 items at same time.
3. Switched blackwater
tanks without knowing what they were doing.
4. Didn't observe
weather.
5. Didn't close
hatch covers during rain.
Memory is the second quality. Example: Everytime you go to shore, take any garbage with you and check
drinking water supply. Some crew need to be told every
single time.
Your experience aboard a vessel is not a critical factor. In point of fact I prefer crew with little or no experience because they ask questions, usually do not try something on their own, and do not insist their way is the only and right way.
Fellow cruisers with experience who know what it means to do
repairs on a vessel should be fine with me. Captains who bounce from
boat to
boat and never cleaned the
barnacles or sewed a sail are not.
If you have little experience,
Tell me about your experience taking care of
animals including people that must always be tended to day in and day out. Again your resume showing you took xyz sailing
training courses or have ___ years experience are of no interest.
Story: I once met a Brazilian woman aboard a vessel with 20 years crew experience. She got most of those jobs because of her looks. Would she take a bag of trash to shore? Absolutely not.
Bike is okay. Motorcycle no.
Must be a nonsmoker.
You will be drug tested and must pass.
You are not permitted to bring a "friend" back to the boat.
You may stay on shore with your "friend".
Couple? Will consider.
No I do not have a private jet to pick you up.
Your nationality must be compatible with nations we are going to. Note: Israeli passport holders would skip few days in Brunei.
Long range plans:
Phuket to Langkawi runs December-March 2019
Haul out and
bottom paint April 2019
Cambodia and
Vietnam Summer 2019
If you work out, you may be with us a long time.
