I'm considering buying a 33' Carena Steel sailboat in Holland and sailing through the Med and then back to Puerto Rico. What would be the approx. fee for an Atlantic crossing?

Hi Globalreach..
Unlike many skippers I do not charge a day rate but by the nautical mile so it would depend on where you wished me to join the boat.. Gib, Portugal or the Canaries..
Once you have decided on a departure port drop me a PM here or e-mail deepwaterdeliveries@yahoo.co.uk..
One other thing to consider is I do not like sailing into US waters.. to much hassle getting the required visa etc.. (pick-ups from the US are easier as I come in by air with the Visa Waiver) also flights back to the EU/UK are easier from St Martin or the BVI's.
If this is no problem for you.. Puerto Rico being a short hop downwind from either I'll be more than happy to give you a quote.

Addendum;
The advantage with the mileage quote/price is (short of a major delay en-route due to gear failure) a fixed price mutually agreed upon before the contract is signed.. no surprises.
