Crew Available: Crew available, now in Kuah, Langkawi

I am currently at anchor in Kuah, Langkawi. I am a 64 years old canadian sailboat owner. I am waiting to have the money to buy some parts to keep on going. I speak fluently english, french and spanish. I am a tolerant and respectfull guy. I have an NASDS Instructor open water certification and a PADI Advanced diver certification. To tell the truth, after so many years without diving regularly, I consider myself as just a certified diver.
As for sailing, what I know is what I have learned as a crew and as an owner. I have no sailing certification. I eat anything, drink when others drink and don't smoke tobacco. I am totally immune to sea sickness. I am flexible as for the duration of the cruise. If you are not confortable with who I am, you say it and I go back to my boat.

More **** happened and I finally bought a cheap 90 amps car battery.

I ended up leaving Thailand with no windlass, no mizzen and no AIS. All this time, so little progress.

I am still wondering where the money went.

It seems its going to be a long way to have the boat ready but I don't give up. I am not ready to go back shoveling snow. I like my boat, I like being on it.

Between the masts, I have installed an hammock and a tent over it to protect me from the sun and the rain. I spend a lot of time in it reading, writing, dreaming. Hey ! dreams are free and this is one thing I can still afford.
