Hi everybody I'm now back from 4 weeks sailing in the Seychelles. This was my first trip there during the SE monsun. I've had 4 sailing holidays there before, but they have all been during the NW monsun. We had waves of 2-4 meters, winds of 10-30 knots and rain almost every day on this trip during the peak of the SE monsun (July-August). On my previous trips (October, November, January and February) to the Seychelles I've mostly experienced flat water and little wind - conditions like in the Cruisers Forum banner on top of the page (Photo from the Seychelles October 2002). Anybody interested in discussing the monsun in the Indian Ocean?
